★Hakodate Chiristmas Fantacy : A giant fir tree presented from Halifax City in Canada, Hakodate’s sister city, is transformed into a dazzling illuminated Christmas tree which throws colourful and bright lights into the sky above the sea near the Kanemori Warehouse area.
★The night view from the peak is said to be one of the three best in the world with Naples and Hong Kong, and the summer Hakodate Port Festival fireworks, the winter bay area Christmas illumination, and other events provide a beautiful scene of the city being gradually lit up, and it is truly a “million-dollar night view.”

★Hakodate Morning Market Visitors can enjoy meals made from fresh ingredients at restaurants in the market, with a bowl of rice topped with sashimi being on of the most popular items. There are many shops chiefly handling crab, salmon, salmon roe, and other fresh seafood and variety of items.
★Hakodate Botanical Park There is an open-air hot spring bath built for the monkeys in the park, and many people visit there to see bathing monkeys, especially during the winter in Hakodate Botanical park. This place is the only place you can see snow monkeys in Hokkaido.
