Take a tour of various magnificent points in Sapporo
Take your time to relax in popular hotels Get on the expressway and drive for about 1 hour. You will reach Hokkaido's largest city, Sapporo! Start off your Sapporo tour with 'Sapporo Chuo Oroshi uri shijou'(Sapporo Central Wholesale Market) selling the riches and fruits of Hokkaido's land and sea. You can hear the strident calls of the market sellers selling various foodstuffs in another market situated nearby. You can even get free samples of the most famous food in Hokkaido, crabs. Let's have a lunch of delicious sushi filled with fresh seafood. Why not go on an exploration of the best vantage to catch a magnificent view Sapporo? 'Hitsujigaoka observation hill' that allows you to catch an unadulterated panorama of Sapporo city, the beautiful scenery that greets you at the height of 300m from 'Okurayama Jump Stadium', and situated at a height 531m is 'Mount Moiwa observation platform', famous for the night view of Sapporo. |

Let's make a short stop at one of the symbolic spots of Noboribetsu, 'Jigoku dani' (Hell's Valley). Check out the impressive sight of the 450m volcanic crater created from an eruption 1000 years ago, with hot air, steam and volcanic gas seeping from its crevices. You will understand why the Japanese named it 'Hell's Valley'.

On the third day, enjoy Lake Toya. As the site of last year's G8 summit, get to experience the sights and nature of this world-famous region with Lake Toya, a 43km caldera lake in the middle. Check out 'Usuzan Nishiyama-kako Sansakuro' (Mt Usu West Crater walkway), with volcanic smoke oozing out from the many cracks within the crater after the eruption in year 2000 and the still active volcano, 'Showa Shinzan'. Here is where you can get to truly witness the vitality of the living earth. Catch a 6 minutes one-way ride on 'Usu-zan ropeway' to enjoy the view from the observation deck on the mountaintop.

Surrounded by beautiful and rich nature, Niseko is an outdoor sports paradise with skiing in winter and golf, rafting, canoeing and many other activities. Get in touch with the wonders of nature through the variety of activities available.
Next, check out Ohnuma Quasi-National Park and be dazzled by the stunning view of the three lakes surrounding this park. Ohnuma Quasi-National Park is especially beautiful during autumn.
Historical City Hakodate
In 1898, 8 nuns from France established the very first convent in Japan here. After gaining an insight into Hakodate's history, move on to the next stop, the Bay Area. Situated right beside the sea area the Kanamori Warehouse and 'Nishihatoba' (West Wharf) filled with a variety of interesting shops and restaurants. Let's enjoy a fulfilling lunch here. If you are looking for souvenirs, small glass figurines and music boxes are highly recommended.
Next on the list would be Japan's first Western-styled fort, 'Goryokaku'. Why not take a leisurely walk within the spacious gardens here.
The breathtaking view from the top of Hakodate Mountain is one of the most famous items in your Hakodate itinerary. From a height of 334m, drink in the sight of Hakodate port and the coastline amidst glittering lights in the night.
Start your final day with breakfast, Hakodate-style
Check out the food stalls at 'Hakodate Morning Market', with a variety of fresh seafood and produce available to try on the spot. Go all out on a luxurious but affordable breakfast with 'kai-sen don' (seafood bowl) and squid sashimi.
