Established in 1964 during the days while people preferred a simple tasting ramen, Junren started offering ramen with a thick, strong flavour. The lard film on top of the soup holds the temperature in, keeping the noodles and soup at their best tempterature. The thick soup with its mild sweetness envelops the noodles well, creating a superb harmony for your tastebuds. Close attention is needed as chashu (roast pork) is cut in a distinctive way according to the soup styles to create the best balance of tastes; cubes in miso ramen soup and thick slices in shoyu (soy sauce) ramen soup.
