The auto camping site next to the ocean is also the roadside station!
As the focal point of marine leisure in Shin Hidaka town (formally Mitsuishi town), “Mitsuishi Seaside Park” contains an auto campsite and seawater swimming pool, and the roadside station doubles up as the auto campsite center house. The center house contains the reception for the camping site, as well as shower rooms, a coin laundry, and a restaurant. Beside the center house, there are small shops that sell local specialties including those made with Mitsuishi kelp and other such locally produced goodies. Inside the roadside station grounds you can find the Mitsuishi hot springs “Kurami”, which are open both to day visitors and for hotel guests.
