Japan’s northernmost roadside station in Japan’s northernmost village
This roadside station can be found on Route 238, the Okhotsk coastal road, inside the Sarufutsu Village Son’ei Farm which is located inside Sarufutsu Park. With fantastic views of the majestic Sea of Okhotsk combined with the broad expanses of land, the scenery appears as if the sea, land, and sky blend into one. As Sarufutsu is known as Japan’s largest producer of scallops, we recommend that you have your fill of the delicious home-cooked seafood and scallop dishes while taking in the breathtaking scenery.
