A ropeway ride from the Noboribetsu Onsen spa town will take you to this ranch for Ezo brown bears, which is located at the summit of a 550-meter high mountain. When fed with snacks, the big brown bears stand up together and make “gimme” poses, which are very popular among the visitors.
