Roadside station that marks the entrance way to Minami Tokachi
This roadside station is located on Route 236 at the crossroads with the Shizunai and Nakasatsunai road. In the “Country Plaza”, there is a great deal of information available on the agriculture and tourism around the Shizunai area, and you can also use the convenient “Hyper Guide”, a large touch-panel screen that lets you search tourist spots simply by touching where you want to go. If you’re hungry, try the chicken cutlet made with tender chicken produced locally in Nakasatsunai. The tender, juicy meat is extremely popular with both locals and visitors alike. At the open-air store “Kasuisan”, you can pick up some local fresh vegetables or freshly laid eggs, or if you are still on the road you can sample some of the ready-prepared local fares from the take-out shopping corner.
