This is the roadside station of the sunflower town, Hokuryu. Broad sunflower fields pan out approximately 1km south, and are connected to the station by walking paths. This roadside station actually consists of a hot spring center, local produce store, and lodging training facilities. There is a natural open-air bath that soothes the tiredness from many a weary traveler. The building main building is also an impressive sight, as you pass through the gates protected by the two-headed dragon to the main Dutch-style building.
