The roadside station that stands on Japan’s longest straight road
This log house style roadside station is located at about the central position in the 29.2km long straight section of Route 12, Japan’s longest straight road. The roadside station contains a handmade soba noodle restaurant “Karamatsu Park”, “Mimisugu” tearooms, and a study room. The handmade soba noodles in “Karamatsu Park” are ranked very highly amongst all of the soba noodle restaurants in Hokkaido, and the restaurant is always crowded with customers.
