With its landmark giant waterwheel, this roadside station was actually the first roadside station to be officially registered as such in Hokkaido. In the giant waterwheel “Agriculture House”, you can watch the water wheel mill and other farm equipment that was originally used hundreds of years ago by the initial settlers to Hokkaido being used again today. Also, behind the roadside station you can enjoy a quick round of Park Golf, or relax in the hot spring facilities (including Mikasa natural hot springs).
