This roadside station can be found on Route 237, the road that leads to Hidaka via Furano from the south side of Asahikawa station. As well as a specialty local produce store that has products from no less than 22 towns and villages in the north Hokkaido area, the building also holds a restaurant and large display area in which events are regularly held. Within the complex of buildings, you can find the “Taisetsu Crystal Hall” that houses the folk museum and “Taisetsu Arena”, and close by you can also enjoy the “Miura Ayako Literature Museum” that has audio guides in 4 languages introducing the life and works of Miura Ayako.
