Fresh seafood from Otaru is sold here from three o’clock in the morning. Not only local residents but also neighborhood retailers and tourists visit here. Haggling for a bargain is one of the attractions; the level of bargain you get is up to your negotiation skills! There are two restaurants which serve set meals of grilled seafood and donburi (rice bowl dishes) using fresh ingredients from the Morning Market, or you can bring your own purchases and they will cook it for you.
