Play at the waterfront and take tasty natural water home with you
The water of the Naibetsu River, which contains subsoil water from Lake Shikotsu, is tasty and has been selected as one of the Environment Ministry’s “100 Best Drinking Waters.” The Meisui Fureai Park, located along the Shikotsuko Koen Sen state route, has a spring water outlet from the Naibetsu River. In the park, there are faucets for drinking water and waterfront walking trails for strolls. During the foliage season in autumn, salmon run in the nearby Chikuma River, which attracts many visitors.
