A shopping arcade where you can enjoy long-established shops and unique restaurants
People have enjoyed this shopping arcade for more than 130 years since the beginning of Sapporo. Located on Naka Dori in Minami 2-jo and Minami 3-jo and between Nishi 1-chome and Nishi 7-chome, the Tanuki Koji Shopping Arcade has about 200 retail businesses. The arcade holds lively events, including “Ouridashi,” which is famous for its cash grab event held twice a year (June and December), and “Tanuki Festival” in which the arcade is decorated. In addition to long-established shops, more boutiques for young people and unique restaurants have opened.
