Outstanding views of the setting sun reflecting off steep cliffs as it descends into the Sea of Japa
Along Highway 231, where stretches of steep cliffs hold off the relentless pressure of the Sea of Japan, this spot can be found soon after the Ofuyu Tunnel. Shortly after the Highway opening memorial lies a silvery waterfall with a 40 meter drop. The Ofuyu lookout is about 4 kilometers north, where after ascending a long walking path with stairs you can catch an unbroken view of the Sea of Japan.
