This is the perfect location for taking in the breathtaking views of Tsugarukaikyo and the active volcano “Esan”. Located on Route 278 in the beachfront park, the view from the rooftop terrace can simply be described as “magnificent”. The line that links Esanmisaki with Shiriyazaki in Aomori prefecture is also the boundary line between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan, which means that this unique roadside station commands a view of the two seas. The facilities are made primarily of wood to blend in with the nearby scenery, and wheelchair access has also been made available to the rooftop viewing platform. Close by there is also “water fountain park”, which soothes the soul with its beautiful blend of the sights and sounds of water.
