Have you already made your way to the ‘Red Panda suspension bridge’ in December last year? You can get to observe them crossing the bridge without any cage or net to block your view. You can never get tired of gazing at the cute way they use their legs to smoothly climb up the trees in their living area. Even better, you might get to see crows gathering around them during feeding times. A truly interesting sight to behold.
Next, the much anticipated new facility that is slated to be opened in late June this coming summer, , the ‘Forest of Wolves’. It will be located at the current reindeer and elk enclosure. In addition to a space where you can observe the way wolves live up close and personal, there is even a special area created for the howling wolves. This summer, it is definitely worth checking out Asahiyama Zoo.
